Thanks Holly! Yes, I went so far as to try a prescription medicine with my first pregnancy but it didn't help a bit. I don't think it was what you just mentioned though. You're almost there! I just saw that you are overdue? poor thing. hang in there!

Congrats! I didn't know you were pregnant again!
None of the normal things worked for me, I think because I didn't have any nausea. I just threw up all the time. At the end of my second trimester I started taking omeprazole. It's the ingredient in one of the over the counter acid reducers for heartburn. I'm not sure which one because I was taking it in another country. Anyway, I've only thrown up 3 times since! I think if I had started it in the second trimester I wouldn't have been so sick then. Apparently the acid that was giving me awful heartburn was also making me throw up. I can't imagine doing that first trimester with twins to take care of!

Emily, I'm so excited for you! That is just great. =) I know we are going through the sickness for the sake of a life, so in the end it's more than worth it. Thanks for your tips too!

Hey Megan...I feel your pain! I am 10 weeks pregnant and have felt sick for the past 5. I do consider myself lucky in that I do not throw up...but sometimes I wish I would, I think it might make me feel better! Like you, I feel like I have tried everything on the list that you provided with not much helping. I try to eat yogurt or ceral right before I go to bed and I nibble on Nutrigrain bars throughtout the night when I wake up (1 million times :)) to use the bathroom. That has really seemed to help me in the morning to not wake up with an empty stomach. As for the rest of the day, I eat whatever sounds good at the time. I am feeling pretty guilty that my food choices have not been the healthiest, but like you said you can't choke down something that doesn't appeal to you. Thanks for sharing your ideas!
