I’m Megan and I’m glad you’re here!  This is a place where I like to blog about family, life, and health.  I originally started this blog to talk about my journey in regaining and maintaining health after pregnancy, but I found that I like to blog about so much more than that.

This is my sweet family.  Meet the twins, Lucy and Nathan, Josh, my husband, and sweet little Finn.

I spend my days taking care of the kids and attempt to keep a smooth running home.  I love my children and Josh and what I have going on in life.  I am so grateful to stay home with the little ones.  In addition to mommy-ing I also enjoy reading for my book club, going out for coffee, catching up with friends, spending time with extended family, and DIY projects.  Speed walking is my favorite form of exercise.  It’s the one I always come back to and the one I like the most.  I enjoy reading homemaking blogs and DIY blogs.

Sometimes when I read too many blogs that seem like life is so perfect at their house, I have to remember that it’s just a blog and a place where they like to share the happy times.  That’s okay.  When I forget that, though, I tend to get down on myself and feel inadequate as a mother/wife/homemaker.  That’s what comparing myself will do.  I want to be real about things, but please know that I am mostly showing pictures of fun times and things look happy all the time.  But we have bad days, bad behavior, bad and attitudes (and not just the kids).  I’m thankful for God’s grace and that I don’t have to dwell on that.
